Music Groups

Music is a vital ministry at Fairview with several programs meeting age appropriate interests. The anchor of the music program is the Sanctuary Choir which performs in the 10:00 am Worship Service 10 months out of the year. This choir is comprised of high school students through senior citizens and enjoys singing a wide variety of traditional, gospel and contemporary Christian anthems. No audition is necessary to join!

Fairview's Handbell Choir also employs high school thru senior citizens. They practice ten months out of the year, play in the Worship Service and perform a variety of three octave repetoire. Some experience is helpful either in bell ringing or music reading though not required.

Faith in Him

Fairview's Faith in Him is a musical mission octet group that sings favorite gospel songs. They have appeared at a variety of venues: nursing homes, churches, and at several of Fairview's services and special programs.

The Praise Bands complement the blended 10:00 am Worship Service. This new music ministry is open to all with a heart for praise music.

The Children's Choir, the Joy Singers, combines pre-school through grade 5 for a lively time of singing each Sunday morning at 9:00 am. They sing in worship through-out the year and perform a special Christmas pageant each December. Tone chimes and basic handbell ringing are also taught.
