Fairview Christian Church supports a variety of local and global mission projects to extend God’s love and care into the world.
Located at 3939 N. Cleveland, this mission provides free clothing to those in need in Clay County. Fairview volunteers serve clients on a referral basis every Tuesday morning from July through April. Volunteers help clients one-on-one, while others sort, size, and stock clothing donations year-round.
For more information, call Carolyn at (816) 436-1875 or visit the Closet in person.
MLM provides food, shelter, job-skill training, and more to Kansas City's most vulnerable individuals. Fairview supports MLM by donating food boxes weekly to their Northland location.
This outreach program of Independence Boulevard Christian Church offers meals and clothing to the homeless every Monday night. Fairview volunteers serve on the first Monday of each month. Micah Ministries serves between 500–900 guests weekly.
To participate, meet at Fairview at 4:15 PM. We leave promptly at 4:30 PM to arrive for assignments by 5:00 PM. Fairview also provides cakes during months with a fifth Monday.
This ministry provides Christmas meals, personal care items, and gifts to vetted Clay County families. During its 4-day distribution season, eligible families “shop” for items at no cost, including food boxes filled with holiday staples.
